Chris joined Cogent in January of 2022 to lead its newly acquired subsidiary, Innovative Technology Partnerships LLC (ITP). Chris subsequently became President of all Cogent operations in February of 2023 and CEO in January of 2024.

Chris graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2001 with a BS in Computer Engineering and immediately joined the United States Army, subsequently serving eight years in infantry units and as a Combat Advisor in Afghanistan.

After leaving the military in 2008, Chris obtained an MS in Operations Research from George Mason University and worked for 14 years at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) in various positions including Systems Analyst, Program Manager, Director, and Vice President eventually leading a division of the company responsible for all safety and security services for clients at the Department of the Navy Strategy Systems Programs (SSP), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Secret Service (USSS), and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).
