Anthony Burgess

Director, Finance

Anthony joined Cogent in 2023 and serves as the Director of Finance.

Anthony graduated from Temple University in 1998 where he majored in Accounting. Anthony began his career as an auditor with the Big 4 Accounting Firm of Deloitte. Anthony has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2001. He has worked as a finance and accounting leader in several industries, including construction and government contracting.

Prior to joining Cogent, Anthony served as Finance Manager for a mid-size government contractor where he was responsible for leading the finance department's financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting. In his current role as Director of Finance, Anthony is responsible for the day-to-day accounting department operations of Cogent and providing Cogent's senior leadership with financial information that helps fuel revenue growth and fiscal responsibility.
