Chad leads Cogent’s Intelligence and Counterintelligence Programs. 

 

Chad came to Cogent in 2022 with the acquisition of Innovative Technology Partnerships, where he has been a Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert for over 14 years.

 

At ITP, Chad has been the Senior Intelligence Analyst and Agency Liaison Officer to USNORTHCOM for the National Nuclear Security Administration's Office of Secure Transportation. In 2018, 2020, and 2021 Chad and his intelligence support team received the NNSA Defense Programs Award of Excellence.

 

Chad spent 21 years in the USAF and has over 35 years of civilian and military law enforcement, special operations, mobile nuclear weapons security, intelligence, and counterintelligence experience. As a Special Agent-in-Charge of three units, he directed, managed and conducted international liaison, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, protective service operations, and felony law enforcement functions for Department of Defense assets in over nine countries. Chad also developed and led a Counter-threat Operations Course as a FLETC Course Director before his retirement from the USAF.

 

Chad lives in Colorado, is married to Ardith Crowe and has three children. He holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and M.A. in Intelligence Studies/Terrorism.
